Determination helped onion knight beat cloud of darkness who he himself admitted he could not beat. Second time he fights her it is implied he had help just like everyone else did with their villians. Wol misjudged squalls motive, thinking that he did not trust his teamates so that is a weakness of the heart that Wol believed he had and wol lost because of his assumption. It is not known how much wol and squall specifically trained together, perhaps less than the others did. Squall is very powerful and if he is underestimated he could beat someone who is obviously superior such as wol. Wol did not "ride" cosmos and the fact they traveled alone does not mean but so much for stregnth since I don't think cloud traveled by himself and he owns squall so that point is moot.

Oh btw I just don't stay on forum all the time looking at every topic so it takes a while for me to see these.

Lol neither do we but anyways Cloud was with tidus firion and cecil for about half of his journey also, It doesn't make sense that just because Squall has a weakness in the heart would mean wol would underestimate him just because wol thought he doesnt trust his teamates doesnt mean wol will think squall is weak enough to underestimate and if your going to assume that squall and wol trained together less than the others then we can also say they trained more than the others did and Squall has superior swordsman ship to wol no doubt about that

well true but remember we dont know who trained with who BUT, they would have proably watched each other train. also wol if misunderstanding motives, would be more on guard, not underestimating squall.

That is a very good point also los its clear they know they are allies so who is to say they both dont hold back? I mean its obvious since when Wol was on one knee Squall didnt attempt to go for the kill

i hate when they pit this stupid shit at us because it is so hard to determine who is stronger.

Well in advent children cloud can do dashes like they did so idk

dashing isnt flying and, he went that far into the sky because he was thrown alot

True but i mean when he was fighting sephiroth he did those dashes in that fight he would have lost so easy its like sad it makes it seem as if cloud was no challenge at all

dashes arent really a factor lol, if its for the plot they MC will auto be able to do it.
